Code for Cape Town will host Ignition workshops in 2017 – an opportunity for female learners in Grade 10 to gain understanding and experience in coding (web development). These are run by our experienced facilitators and serve as the first phase of recruitment for the 2017 Code for Cape Town programme, as well as a valuable skills development activity for those who do not continue with the programme.

Code Camp brings high potential female leaders together to create solutions to pressing issues in South Africa. Candidates work in teams to code an app which they present in a final pitch event on 16 July.
