What do you give?

Position yourself as the Headline Sponsor of a Code4CT event.
Events include:

Sponsorship packages range in price to accommodate different budgets.

As a Friend of Code4CT, be personally responsible for making our Code Classes possible by giving a combination of financial sponsorship and your time.

You will sponsor a targeted number of hours of coding  – 100 hours of coding costs R4500.
You will select a Code4CT event to support such as hosting a 3 hour Power of Code workshop or hosting a group of girls for a 5 day Industry Immersion.

Sponsor a female learner to attend CodeSpace Academy, a 5 month web development course, and receive preferential access to placing a graduate – R50 000


Work with us to offer a bursary to a female coder to pursue tertiary studies

Make an in-kind donation

All in-kind donations can receive a Section 18A tax certificate to the value of the donation.

  • Laptops: Donate laptops in good working order.
  • Catering: Provide catering for an event we host. Typically we need lunch, snacks and soft drinks for 28 people.
  • Venue: Provide a venue for us to host an event.
  • Vouchers/ products: If you have a really great product, you can donate vouchers to us to use as giveaways. We love being able to reward our learners’ hard work and giving great gifts to our Code Coaches/ Facilitators/ Guest Speakers/ Mentors to thank them for their support!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make a donation as an individual?

Yes. An individual can sponsor a certain number of hours, or a specific event, or fund a learner’s study fees. All donations are tax deductible.

Can I run a fundraising campaign on behalf of Code4CT?

Yes, a company or individual can set a target amount and raise funds within their own team/ network. This is made easy with GivenGain.

How does this affect my BBBEE?

100% of your contribution can be allocated to your Socio-Economic Development or Enterprise Development spend and improve your BBBEE rating. Over and above your ED contribution, you can earn up to two extra points if you go on to use our coders’ services and create additional jobs.

Do I get a tax benefit from making a donation?

We are a registered Public Beneficiary Organisation and are able to issue Section 18A certificates for all donations.
